A wonderful diamond crocodile brooch depicted with his mouth open, baring his sharp teeth. He’s encrusted with twinkling rose-cut diamonds across the front, totalling approx. 0.60ct and is fashioned in silver with an 18ct gold back and pin.
The rose cut has been around since the 16th-Century and is recognised for its domed shape and neat triangular facets that are cut to resemble the petals of a rosebud. They were at the height of popularity in the Victorian era and were beloved for their enchanting sparkle that was said to dance by candlelight.
It’s a fabulous brooch and perfect for anyone who adores these beautiful reptiles.
